Recording Foley: Axe and Hammer

Today I and my team did a recording session for our game. We needed the sound of an Axe chopping wood and a Hammer which do hammer job ;)
For the session, we went to our artist's (Tabbie) garden. Alastair (programmer) had fun with props while I kept Recorder and microphones in place.
The session was spontaneous and not super-pro but we don't need crystal clear ambient-noise free recordings because after editing, audio assets will go through the heavy sound design processing and layering as the final sounds are supposed to be exaggerated.
We had additional support from a kitty with pearl-like blueish eyes but unfortunately, his eyes are not captured on pictures (shot by Tabbie).
